As a teacher, I will use surveys to help my students and their families.  For example, I could use a survey to learn the reading interests of my students.  I could use surveys to get feedback from my students and their parents about their experience in my classroom.  Surveys can also be used to teach students lessons.  For example, I could use a survey to teach students about voting in America. Topics that I found most interesting when viewing my classmates' blogs were that we shared some of the same areas that we thought we could improve upon.  For example, some of my classmates were inexperienced with inserting hyperlinks in PowerPoint as I was.  I also learned that technology makes sharing among educators easier and presenting lessons for students easier.  I would like to share among other educators so that students in my classroom get good learning experiences. The Flipped Classroom is a resource that teachers can use to help with saving time while presenting content to students.  This instructional design allows teachers to flip the learning and utilize classroom time for guided practice and cooperative learning.  The learning takes place outside of the traditional classroom for students.  The flipped classroom allows the teacher to create videos that are accessible to students so that other activities can be explored during classroom time. Diigo is a way of sharing and gaining resources from others.   I learned that it is beneficial for not only me but for others that I interact with because we are able to share resources and other information that can be used within the classroom environment.   Team members can collaborate and create groups using Diigo which makes sharing research easy for everyone.   Diigo can be useful in my classroom because it can be helpful when showing students the power of collaboration.   In addition, students can utilize it as a tool when they are performing research or working on group or individual projects.   I can utilize Diigo with team members to share research and resources helpful to the classroom.   This tool will allow me to share links and other materials they may be helpful for my classroom and those of my team members.   My individual professional efforts can be enhanced with the use of Diigo because of my individual efforts and the collabor...

My experience with Twitter is a new one and has been great so far.   I have learned that it is easy to share opinions and give opinions via Twitter.   I think the benefit is the sharing of information and opinions with Twitter.   I have not experienced any issues while using Twitter. I visited the Canopy Oaks website.   The school serves grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5 th grade students.   The homepage has a site navigation where you can go directly to teacher websites.   The information that you can see publicly are assignments, homework, the teacher’s bio, and student resources.   There is also a link to a class calendar.     https://www.leonschools.net/Page/2610 In the future I can envision myself using technology effectively and efficiently in many ways. I am sure that I will use a smartboard and my students will most likely all have laptops or tablets. Those are just two of the many ways.
